Introduction
Education has gained a lot of
importance and every developing economy has realized that in order to be
in the league of developed nations, it will have to lay emphasis on the
education system .With the notification of RTE act, it has become
mandatory to enroll all children in the age-group of 6-14 years in the
schools and provide quality education. No education policy should be
static since it has to cater to the needs of the society at the given
time but also keep pace with the changing technical, pedagogical,
political, social, economic and linguistic concerns before the people,
it is bound to show lapses to be taken care of failures to be our eye
openers and pitfalls to be avoided in all future planning.
Sri Muktsar Sahib District has
also made a lot of progress on the education front as well as sports.
